Madison Avenue Couture is housed in a pre-war building in Manhattan's fashionable East Side. Our website features only part of our collection, which is changing constantly. Access to more of our collection is available by appointment.

Our clients buy from us confident that they are getting the authentic merchandise in the condition as described at a market price.
Authenticity: We guarantee that all of our items are authentic. We have substantial experience in the brands we sell; on occasion, we connect with collectors and restorers expert in the designers we carry.
While we are not a licensed boutique of any of the brands that we sell or affiliated in any way with these brands, we purchase virtually all our new items from licensed boutiques. We follow the “know your customer rule” with regard to pre-owned and vintage items.
Condition: We want our clients to be happy with their item, so we provide a condition report on every item that details flaws of the item. We offer items that are in immediate wearable condition with the exception of some rare vintage pieces that are true collector’s pieces. It should be kept in mind, however, that pre-loved items may show signs of minor wear without any distinctive flaws.
Pricing: We are in the market every day so we have a barometer of current values. We supplement our own knowledge with databases on prices of similar items sold to ensure that our items are priced according to market.
Return Policy: We want you to be comfortable in purchasing items from us. We accept returns for store credit on clothing (shipping charges are not refundable. If the item was shipped during a free shipping promotion, the credit will reflect return amount, minus our cost of shipping the item to you) providing that you notify us within five days from the day the item was mailed (10 days for overseas buyers) that you intend to return the item. Returns must be received no later than five days after notification (10 days for overseas buyers). Credit will be given on receipt providing that the item is in the condition in which it was sent and all tags are attached. We do not accept returns on handbags or jewelry.

Our website: A large portion of our inventory is on our MadisonAvenueCouture.com website and we post new arrivals every Tuesday and Friday at noon, East Coast time. Check out our “new arrival” section as so as possible. Great pieces go fast.
Showroom Sales: If you live in or are visiting New York, be sure to make an appointment to visit our showroom. Be prepared for an enjoyable experience. While our clothing is luxe, our attitude is relaxed. We limit visitors, so we can provide true VIP service.
Special emails: Sign up for our newsletter and wish-lists and be the first to learn about items we are planning to list from certain ‘hot’ designers.
Ruelala.com: Madison Avenue Couture has partnered with Rue La La to hold events on its membership-only site featuring primarily modern and vintage items from the designers we love. Items in these events go fast.
Live Events: Madison Avenue Couture hosts live events in select cities where clients have a chance to see, touch and try on merchandise with the service and styling assistance not found in today’s retailers.

How We Can Also Help:
Estate Sales: As experts in luxury women's clothing and accessories, Madison Avenue Couture is the firm to retain to handle these aspects of an estate. We manage everything, including the cleaning and repair of valuable items and the donation of unsalable items to a chosen charity.
Closet Cleaning: We work directly with fashionistas and/or their personal shopper or stylists to clear out overstuffed closets. We’ll separate items that are worth reselling from those that are best donating and even arrange to have the donations reach the selected charity, getting a receipt for tax deduction purposes.
Charity Sales: Madison Avenue Couture provides great services to charities, such as holding a private "in person" sale, promoting charitable donations on our website, and providing appraisals of them creating a private live sale are creating a special section on its online store to promote and sell the items, and appraising item values for use in events.
